The situation is getting worse by the day in the Qatif area. The demonstrations are now condemning the involvement of Saudi forces in Bahrain.

Naturally, the government wouldn't like the sound of that. So they sent in the forces.

In local news, there were some small demonstrations in my hometown to support the Bahrain protesters and asking for the release of the 1996 prisoners. I have seen several riot police buses earlier in the evening and the sound of their helicopter reached my ears from time to time.
